Zu Xin is the son of Zu Yi, and his stepfather is the king. "Historical Records" only records that "zu Yi died, and his son, Zu Xin, was established. Emperor Zu's heart collapsed, and his brother, I, was established." There are no other deeds. After Zu Xin's death, the throne was passed to his younger brother Wo Jia, and then to Zu Xin's son Zu Ding. The succession of thrones between uncles and nephews was a typical manifestation of the "Nine Generations Rebellion". According to the oracle bone inscriptions, Zu Xin belongs to the direct line of the ancestors, and the subsequent Pan Geng, Xiao Xin, Xiao Yi and Wu Ding are all his descendants.
