Li Dewang, the second son of Shenzong. His brother Crown Prince Li Deren was deposed because of his dissent, and Shenzong was succeeded to his throne in 1223. In view of the fact that the country was exhausted by joining Mongolia to attack gold, he instead sought to unite Jin Dynasty and the tribes in Mobei to fight against Mongolia. In 1224, the Mongolian army captured Yinzhou and he was forced to ask for peace. In 1225, Xia and Jin negotiated peace, ending more than ten years of war. The following year, Cheng Jisihan personally led an army to attack on the grounds that Western Xia would not send protons, and even attacked Heishui City, Ganzhou, Suzhou and other places. Dewang became ill from fear and died of illness in July at the age of forty-six.
