Ji Jing is the son of King Li. When the Chinese rioted, he hid in Zhao Mugong's house, and Zhao Mugong died on his behalf to save him. Fourteen years after the Republic of China, King Li died of pigs, and Duke Zhao and Duke Zhou supported him as king. King Xuan appointed Zhao Mugong, Yin Jifu, Zhong Shanfu, Fang Shu and other wise ministers to rectify the government affairs. "Historical Records" called him "the legacy of Fawen, Wu, Cheng and Kang", and the princes respected Zong Zhou again.
Externally, he personally conquered the yang, and Yin Jifu accompanied him as far as Taiyuan; Zhao Mugong pacified Huaiyi, and sent Shunan to conquer Jingman; he also granted the title of Shen Bo to Xie, and ordered Hanhou to guard the north to protect the N&S; Qin Zhong, Qin Zhuanggong and his son were ordered to attack Xirong, and the status of the Qin people rose. Bronze vessels such as Xi Jiapan and Guo Jizi Baipan record these conquests. The "June", "Caiqi", "Jianghan" and "Songgao" in the Book of Songs are also mostly works praising King Xuan.
King Xuan also had a headstrong side: when he came to the throne, he did not hold the ceremony of establishing a land; later, he interfered with the succession of the throne of Lu, which caused dissatisfaction among the Lu people; in his later years, he was defeated by Jiang's army in the Thousand Acres War, and he also counted the population in Taiyuan to supplement his troops. According to "Mo Zi", he also unjustly killed doctor Du Bo. King Xuan died after reigning for forty-six years, and Wong Qian succeeded him as King You.
King Xuan cleaned up the mess after the Republic, appointed Zhao Mugong, Yin Jifu, Zhong Shanfu and other virtuous ministers, expedition to the north and conquered Huaiyi in the south, reviving the declining royal family for a time. Bronze inscriptions and elegant chapters of the Book of Songs left a lot of praise, and the name "King Xuan Zhongxing" is worthy of its name. However, he failed to settle the land, interfered with the succession of the Lu State, and used the people to replenish the army after the defeat. This not only damaged the country's power but also broke the trust of the princes. ZTE did not last long, and Western Zhou perished more than ten years later.
