Sophora japonica is the son of Zhu, and is called "Hou Fen" in "The Chronicles of the Bamboo Book". "Historical Records" only records that "the emperor died, and the emperor's son-in-law rose" and "the emperor's son-in-law rose", and no other deeds were left. According to the "Bamboo Book Annals", in the third year after Houfen ascended the throne, nine Yi, Yuyi, Fangyi, Huangyi, Baiyi, Chiyi, Xuanyi, Fengyi and Yangyi from the east came to surrender, which shows that after the resurgence of Shao Kang, the relationship between Xia and the eastern tribes tended to ease.
